0] TURN OFF/DISABLE your Internet Connection.

1] Install the program. After installation, DO NOT Run the app.

2] Install "update_14.0.0.166". (Again, DO NOT Run the app)

3] Copy-Paste & Replace "videodeluxe.exe" & "Protein" folder to default installation directory

4] Add the following lines to your hosts file using Notepad:

(Located in Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts)

127.0.0.1 www.magix.com

127.0.0.1 195.214.216.16

5] Now, launch the program, when you get activation pop up, Click on "Exit The Program"

6] When you re-launch it, your license will be recognized.

*Important Note*: DO NOT ever update the program.

Why not update?

Because the license is particulary made for this version, therefore the moment the program is updated, it will stop working! Don't forget to edit your hosts file also.
